Economy Class Tour – The Classic ride from 2012

• NEW FOR 2024: Private Economy Tours get a free round of 16 shots of alcohol at The Hangar after the tour ($100 value)
• BYOB: Bring your own Beverages (beer/wine/prepackaged beverages under 9% ABV, no jello shots, no hard liquor allowed for any reason)
• Alcohol Add on: You may purchase 4 drinks from us in advance for $10 (For example, if you’re a convenience kind of person that wants to live a bit of the first class life, but you’re on an economy tour)
• Public vs. Private: Private Economy tour means you book the entire bike and the price is fixed (bring between 6-16ppl) and Public Economy means you pay by the seat and will ride with strangers
• Includes ice AND a YETI cooler.
  
• Guests may not bring their own drinks or coolers into the Hangar or onto our porch.  If you book economy please plan accordingly what you’ll do w/ your cooler and/or leftover drinks after the tour since those are yours! (not purchased at The Hangar, can’t consume on our property)

First Class Tour- All-Inclusive Private Tour with food & drink included!

• Private Tour – You can reserve this with as few as 12 people or as many as 16; only pay for the amount you bring!  The go-to for large groups looking for a private experience!
• Included Drinks: Includes up to 5 drinks per person – 3 Beverages (you choose at check-in, choices here) included plus 1-2 special drinks at a new fun stop for 2024!
• Included Post Tour Meal – 7 Foot Long Pizza Flight Board for large groups! (Yes a pizza that is 7 feet long)  You must select this add-on at checkout to receive the meal!

• More Activities: Coupon for a Free 1.5 Hr Golf/Gaming sim bay and/or our 16 person Flight Deck table! Hint: Add this on post tour to keep the party rolling!

• VIP: A custom message on our Arrivals and Departures board in the main bar to surprise your VIP after the tour!

• What to Bring:  Nothing!  You cannot bring your own drinks for this experience, but you won’t need them either!

Economy Public Tours – None – Bring your own Beer/Wine/Cider or anything else thats prepackaged under 9% ABV. 

• Economy PRIVATE tours where the entire bike is booked receive up to 16 free shots of alcohol at The Hangar after your tour (one per person).  Economy PUBLIC tours where you book by the seat (not the entire bike) do not get a free shot after the tour.
• NOTE: Coolers and Drinks are not allowed inside The Hangar or on Patio – Hangar Staff does not store coolers, so please keep in your car or plan accordingly if you plan on Hanging out! (or book a first class tour)

First Class – 5 Drinks Total Included ($30+ value per person!)

• At check in- each guest will choose 3 canned drinks, with an option to upgrade up to 2 drinks to Frozen Margaritas for $5!

• The 2 shots are usually a Pedal Lube hydration shot (think liquid IV mixed with alcohol) administered during your tour! Compared to a round of shots at the bar – this ones VALUABLE!
  
• Food: While it’s not drinks, First Class tours also get a 7 foot long pizza!

All 8 of our Original Amsterdam-built bikes are equipped with electric assist. These systems were uniquely designed and built for our bikes to help you out as much OR as little as you’d like! Still prefer that pure pedal power we brought to the city 12 years ago? NO problem, just let your driver know! Prefer more help? You got it!

All riders must be 21 or older to ride The HandleBar – but we don’t care how tall you are at least!

Max Per Bike: 16 Passengers

• PUBLIC Economy Class – Just book the # of seats you need. You’ll be paired with others who book the same date/time. 
  
• PRIVATE Economy Class – You get the entire bike and the price is fixed whether you bring 6 people or the maximum, 16 people.
• Private First Class – This is a private tour, so you will have the whole bike. We recommend 12-16, but if you had fewer, you would just pay for 12 seats and it would be slightly more per person.  This is the only tour where if you have 12 people, you pay for 12 people.  If you have 15ppl you pay for 15ppl.  Do the math, but this is our most popular tour for a reason.
• If you had more than 16, you may book multiple bikes and they can ride together! Hit us up at support@hangarindy.com to reserve.

Start: The Hangar – Indy’s Hub for Experiences! 501 Madison Ave, 4 blocks south of the Circle

• Check in here 30 minutes prior to departure. You’ll get wristbands, waivers signed, and select your beverages for your tour. Grab a hand crafted cocktail and a slice and get ready for your adventure!

Go: Indy- your playground!

• The HandleBar tour will showcase the best of our city – Monument Circle, Mass Ave, Georgia Street and more. We’ll make picture stops, bar stops, and even a unique new stop for 2024 that gets everyone in on some excitement!
• Pro-tip- you can order food ahead ON your tour so its ready for you when you finish the tour at The Hangar!

End: The Hangar – Post tour Hangs are the BEST

• The Party Rolls On at The Hangar! Party with other groups who finished, snag a frozen marg or grab yourself some food to refuel! For those First Class groups – your 16 person Flight Deck® Table will be waiting for you to continue the experience!

Yes! PUBLIC Economy Class, Food Tours and Brunch Tours are individual seat tours.  The only way to make those tours private is to purchase all 16 seats.  First Class tours are always a private group tour.  

Pricing is all dependent on how many people you have, what time of day you want to ride, what day of week and what tour type (Economy Class, First Class, Brunch, etc).  Tour pricing is similar to an airline in that time of day and day of the week does change things slightly.  For that reason, please check our availability calendar for specific pricing when you want to ride!

Brunch Party Tour/Experience- $49.99 or $44.99 with 6 or more people!

– All-Inclusive Brunch Experience – This is THE Brunch Party. We kick it off with a HandleBar tour of Indy- 2 drinks included ($12 value!). Upon return to the Hangar, you’ll be invited inside for your brunch party and food is included!

Food Tour- $59.99 or $49.99 with 6 or more people!

4 Courses while you tour Indianapolis’ best sights. See and Taste Indy like a local! Includes 3 beverages on the tour and all food!

Public Economy Class (Individual Seat tours) – just have them book online like you did. If your date/time is unavailable, the tour is full. 

First Class Tours – Please just email us at support@hangarindy.com and we can add them and charge the card on file. 

Balances are due 7 days prior to the tour. If balance is not paid, we’ll attempt to charge the card on file and if we cannot- we will notify you and the tour will be canceled. Don’t worry – you’ll get several reminders before this happens!

If you’re concerned about weather or ANYTHING else, you may want to purchase Trip Insurance at checkout which allows you to cancel for any reason up to 24 hours prior to your tour!

You betcha!  We’ve got a full bar and kitchen. We recommend trying one of our craft cocktails, all made with Indy-based ingredients, and if you’re Hangry, try our Spare Tires® – A pizza roll unlike anything you’ve had!

This is our bread and butter. From Small groups of 10 who want a place to eat/drink/play, to full venue rentals for 400 – we can Hang! Please see our Corporate Events or Venue Rental pages to inquire.

On HandleBar Tours- If weather is bad enough (thunderstorms imminent), we will notify you at least 2 hours prior to the tour to offer a rain check. You may decline as long as the weather is safe enough to ride. Never assume your ride is canceled. 99% of the time, we can work around the weather by delaying the start, adjusting when we stop at a bar, extending the tour, etc. If you are concerned about the weather ruining your day – we want you to know that even when rain happens – our guests end up having a blast. Our goal is to make you feel like a kid again on our experiences, playing in the rain kinda fits the bill! 

If you book The Hangar for a Corporate outing or Venue Rental, We do offer HandleBar shuttle services to get you from the Convention Center, your office, or Hotel to The Hangar! Turn the pain point of arranging transportation into an EXPERIENCE with us! We’ll show up with a welcome drink to your front door and treat you!
