Economy Class – Individual Seat Tour (Check Availability / Book Here)

• We typically make one stop at Monument Circle, and another stop at a local bar or park stop (Video here) for some games!

First Class- Private Group Experience for up to 16 (Check Availability / Book Here)

• Private Tour – The go-to for large groups looking for a private experience!
• Round of shots included on the bike– Each private group tour will receive a HandleBar shot on the tour for the entire group of 16 people.  That’s right – FREE.   If you are picky about what shot you guys get – we have upgrades available from $3/person!  If you want to ADD a 2nd round you can do so for $48 for the round and save money from what you’d pay when you’re out on the tour.  
• Drinks: Bring Your Own -OR- Purchase On-Site: Bring your own Beverages (beer/wine/prepackaged beverages under 9% ABV, no jello shots, no hard liquor) or make it easy and purchase to-go drinks at The Hangar (beer, wine, cocktails, frozen margaritas to go!) • Exclusive Post Tour Cuisine – For a limited time First Class HandleBar groups have the first come / first served OPTION for a FREE 7 Foot Long Brick Oven Pizza Flight Board and Free trackman golf gaming bay following their tour for large groups!  Designed specifically to accommodate our large HandleBar groups, this is a perfect way to keep the party rolling and kill the Hangriness among riders post tour!  After you book your tour you will get a code to book the pizza/gaming bay.  The dates are released 2 weeks out ahead of time and you can view them here before you book your tour to see if something will for sure be available.  If you do not book the 7 foot pizza experience separately, you cannot just show up on the day of the tour and hope you get it for free or that it is automatically included in your First Class HandleBar tour.  It must be booked in advance and when they are gone, they are gone. (More info on this in a question below)
• OPTIONAL Park Stop: If you want to do something besides ONLY stopping at bars we offer a fun park stop (video example here) where we lead you guys on “Angry Turds” launching and Potato Sack races and more at a local park downtown.  Worried you will miss the round of shots if you do this one ?  DON’T!  One round is INCLUDED and you can buy a 2nd round for $48, which is probably well under half what you would have spent at a bar.  

• VIP: A custom message on our Arrivals and Departures board in the main bar to surprise your VIP after the tour!

Drinks are not included on Economy Individual Seat tours. First Class tours include a round of shots on the bike!  All tours allow BYO or purchasing drinks on-site. 

• The Hangar offers a variety of beer, wine, cider and we also offer our craft cocktails and frozen margaritas to go on the bike as well!  As long as The Hangar is open we can serve you.  Google will have our weekly hours (we do have venue rentals sometimes, for example, and are closed Monday/Tuesday, but if you have a special request and reach out in advance where there is a will, sometimes there’s a way so just let us know) Text us at 317-620-1448

All 8 of our Original Amsterdam-built bikes are equipped with electric assist which makes pedaling a breeze! These systems were uniquely designed and built for our bikes to help you out as much OR as little as you’d like! Still prefer that pure pedal power we brought to the city 13 years ago? NO problem, just let your driver know! Prefer more help? You got it!

All riders must be 21 or older to ride The HandleBar – but we don’t care how tall you are at least!

Max Per Bike: 16 Passengers

• PUBLIC Economy Class – Just book the # of seats you need. You’ll be paired with others who book the same date/time. 
  
• PRIVATE First Class – You get the entire bike and the price is fixed whether you bring 6 people or the maximum, 16 people.

Have you ever been to a (fun) party without music? C’mon now!  And for 2025 we upgraded all of our stereos and LED lighting systems to make it even more fun!

 Pro Tip: Create a playlist for your day, or queue up Spotify – All bikes were upgraded in 2024 with a killer sound system you can sync to.

Start: The Hangar – Indy’s Hub for Experiences! 501 Madison Ave, 4 blocks south of the Circle

• Check in here at least 15 minutes prior to your experience start time. You’ll get ID’d, waivers signed, and select your beverages for your tour. Grab a hand crafted cocktail and a slice and get ready for your adventure! For First Class tours, we will curate your experience based on your preferences of bar stops, or game stops to turn the fun up to 11!

Go: Indy- your playground!

• The HandleBar tour will showcase the best of our city – Monument Circle, Mass Ave, Georgia Street and more. We’ll make picture stops, bar stops, and even a unique new stop for 2024 that gets everyone in on some excitement!
• Pro-tip- you can order food ahead ON your tour so its ready for you when you finish the tour at The Hangar!

End: The Hangar – Post tour Hangs are the BEST

• The Party Rolls On at The Hangar! Party with other groups who finished, snag a frozen marg or grab yourself some food to refuel! For those First Class groups – if you booked a gaming bay / 7-foot pizza experience here then you’re all set.  If you want to play it by ear and just hang in our general bar area and order off the menu, you can do that too, but with large groups planning ahead is always encouraged!

Cool your jets, pal. You’ve got 2 options:

1) Ask the person who booked your tour – they received the link to your waiver.  Each waiver link is specific to YOUR group so we can identify you when you arrive.

2) Just fill it out when you get on-site. It’ll only take  a minute! (Highly encourage you to do #1 though because it makes check-in quick and we can maybe even get you on your tour quicker!)

Pricing is all dependent on how many people you have, what time of day you want to ride, what day of week and what tour type (Economy Class, First Class, Brunch, etc).  Tour pricing is similar to an airline in that time of day and day of the week does change things slightly.  For that reason, please check our availability calendar for specific pricing when you want to ride!

YEP!  If you’d like to split your payment with your friends and don’t want to use Venmo/Zelle/Paypay, etc, please just select the “Split The Cost” option at the screen where you choose your date/time and you will be provided the option of splitting payment with your crew. 

The Detail: You need the full amount of the tour available on your credit card at the time of booking.  Why?  A temporary hold will be placed on your card for the full amount of the tour for up to 7 days, or until all your crew have paid the balance. If there is a balance remaining after 7 days, the remaining balance from unpaid crewmembers will be charged to your card on file.

When you checkout, there will be a link that you can share with your crew to allow them to pay on their own. You will be able to see who has paid and who hasnt with the link, which makes it easy to follow up with the stragglers! There is a 3% fee that goes to the booking proivder for this service.

We strongly suggest you leave your coolers at home. If you must bring one, The Hangar team will do our best to store in our drink daycare for you while you Hang, but you cannot have your own alcohol inside our venue, it’s the law!

Your first step would be to try and select two bikes insetad of one at checkout and see if there is availability. If you do NOT see availability, please reach out to us at support@hangarindy.com and we may be able to adjust schedules to accommodate. 

If you booked a First Class Private Tour and want to add people – you don’t need to let us know as long as you don’t have more than 16 passengers including yourself. If you have more than 16 – you will need to contact us. We do not legally allow more than 16 on a bike. 

Public Economy Class (Individual Seat tours) – just have them book online like you did. If your date/time is unavailable, the tour is full. 

First Class Tours – No need to reach out. You have the whole bike for up to 16 passengers. If you have more than 16 you will need a second bike. Please reach out to us at support@hangarindy.com and we can help!

Balances are due 7 days prior to the tour. If balance is not paid, we’ll attempt to charge the card on file and if we cannot- we will notify you and the tour will be canceled. Don’t worry – you’ll get several reminders before this happens!

If you’re concerned about weather or ANYTHING else, you may want to purchase Trip Insurance at checkout which allows you to cancel for any reason up to 24 hours prior to your tour! This costs $50.

We have the best in industry Trackman golf simulators, but our 15 foot screens can also be used for some pretty sick Mario Kart competitions as well.  We have video darts, cornhole, HangToss ring games and some other fun bar games to keep you guys busy!

This is our bread and butter. From Small groups of 10-40 who want a place to eat/drink/play, to full venue rentals for 400 – we can Hang! Please see our Corporate Events or Venue Rental pages to inquire.  We even just pulled off a 1200 person event where we shut the street down in front of The Hangar so where there is a will, there is a way! On HandleBar Tours- If weather is bad enough (thunderstorms imminent), we will notify you at least 2 hours prior to the tour to offer a rain check. You may decline as long as the weather is safe enough to ride. Never assume your ride is canceled. 99% of the time, we can work around the weather by delaying the start, adjusting when we stop at a bar, extending the tour, etc. If you are concerned about the weather ruining your day – we want you to know that even when rain happens – our guests end up having a blast. Our goal is to make you feel like a kid again on our experiences, playing in the rain kinda fits the bill! 

If you book The Hangar for a Corporate outing or Venue Rental, We do offer HandleBar shuttle services to get you from the Convention Center, your office, or Hotel to The Hangar! Turn the pain point of arranging transportation into an EXPERIENCE with us!  We’ll show up with a welcome drink to your front door and treat you!  Talk about a way to WOW your team ;)
